Warranty Resolution Process


1. A factory-authorized, EPA-certified contractor must diagnose the equipment and provide a diagnosing procedure, part number or part description that is needed, and the model and serial number(s) of the system in question. simply the best minisplits may also request an original installation invoice at its discretion. This information will need to be submitted to simply the best minisplits before a replacement part is sent out.

2. At the discretion of simply the best minisplits, when all documentation is submitted, a simply the best minisplits technician may elect to contact the equipment owner and/or the contractor to diagnose the equipment to attempt to resolve the situation without replacement part(s). This is in an attempt to eliminate part lead times and extensive costs to the equipment owner.

3. Once the warranty paperwork is accepted by simply the best minisplits, a representative will contact the system’s owner and ask for payment information. This will be at the discretion of simply the best minisplits once a representative reviews the documentation. If requested, this payment method will be used to pay for shipping and for the part(s) diagnosed as needed on the simply the best minisplits system.

4. Once the faulty part(s) are sent to simply the best minisplits, they will be tested to ensure the issue is a result of a factory fault. If the part(s) are deemed faulty, the amount paid for the part will be reimbursed. Round trip shipping and any labor associated with the diagnosing and part(s) replacement process will not be reimbursed. simply the best minisplits maintains the right to refuse reimbursements for any reason, except where prohibited, including but not limited to the conditions provided in this document.

5. Replacement part(s) will be shipped to the owner, dealer, or factory-authorized, EPA-certified contractor at the discretion of simply the best minisplits.

Warranty Exclusions


1. Labor or other costs incurred for diagnosing, repairing, removing, installing, shipping, servicing or handling of either defective parts, or replacement parts, or new units are excluded from this warranty.

2. Product cleaning required prior to warranty service and repair and normal maintenance, outlined in the installation and servicing instructions or Owner’s Manual, including filter cleaning and/or replacement and lubrication are excluded from this warranty.

3. Damage or repairs due to faulty installation, misapplication, abuse, improper servicing, unauthorized alteration or improper operation of simply the best minisplits units(s) are excluded from the warranty.

4. Any costs associated with the failure of the simply the best minisplits system to start due to voltage conditions, blown fuses, open circuit breakers, or damage due to inadequacy or interruption of electrical service are excluded from this warranty.

5. Failure or damage of the simply the best minisplits system due to floods, winds, fires, lightning, accidents, corrosive environments (rust, etc.) or other conditions beyond the control of the Company are excluded from the warranty.

6. Any cost or labor associated with the failure or damage of coils or piping due to corrosion on installations within one (1) mile of the seacoast or corrosive body are excluded from this warranty.

7. Parts and any damage or failure resulting from their use which were not supplied or designated by the Company, are excluded from this warranty.

8. simply the best minisplits products installed outside the 48 contiguous United States, except the District of Columbia and Hawaii, are excluded from this warranty.

9.Electricity, fuel costs, or increases in electricity or fuel costs for any reason whatsoever, including additional or unusual use of supplemental electric heat, are excluded from this warranty.

Any cost to replace, refill or dispose of refrigerant, including the cost of refrigerant is excluded from this warranty.

Any cost or damage attained during shipment or damage as a result of transporting the unit is excluded from this warranty.

Accessories, such as condensate pumps, line sets and so forth, are not covered under this warranty.

Any special, indirect or consequential property or commercial damage to the unit(s) of any nature whatsoever is excluded from this warranty. (Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.)

Consumable components, such as air filters, are excluded from the parts portion of this warranty.
